Such a bad hit by the Tennesse DT. They should punish those hits to the knees much harsher, like they do with hits to the head.

Love that read by the Cal DB on 4 and 2. He decided even if it isnt play action and is a run, he's gonna let the rest of the D deal with that. With how Miami was running you'll see a lot of college guys not commit to coverage to see if it's a run and they're needed, and it gives the offense just enough space.

Cal is making this interesting, immediate TD to capitalize

Clark Lea is going to get abigger job just from this game, but he's been impressive in his approach at Vandy.

Bama at their best is maybe the best team in the country. I know we're talking about extremes here, but imo, this is what sets the SEC apart from other conferences. It's a really physical league and there are few easy outs on the schedule.

DeBoer went 6-1 in ranked matchups last year at Washington. Michigan was their only loss in those games.

Since he’s become head coach at Washington I think he’s got the best record in ranked matchups amongst all coaches. He doesn’t really lose much in those games.

So it kind of overshadows things but they went down to the wire last year with Arizona State & Washington State who weren’t good teams.

So there were/are signs there of his teams playing down to the competition.

I still think he’s a really good coach but this is new territory for Alabama fans after the Saban era.

Looking at the schedule Penn State vs Ohio State at Happy Valley on November 2nd could be #1 vs #2.

Right now it's #1 Texas, #2 Ohio State, #3 Oregon, #4 Penn State, #5 Georgia (1 loss).

Texas plays Georgia in 2 weeks. Ohio State is on the road against Oregon this week. Penn State has away games at USC and Wisconsin before the Ohio State game.

Bucks County.

Why not take add college football to the portfolio of once good/great things Disney could ruin.

I have a crazy idea, but it just might work. What if the 70 team league is spilt up by geographic location, maybe like 8 of them. Then we have the teams in each geographic location all play each other during the season and the best team from each one of them goes to a playoff. Like we could do the four East teams on one side and the 4 West teams on the other and the winner of each side plays for the National Championship.

I'm just spitballing here.

They’ll get there eventually when the Big Ten & SEC gobble up the remaining brands they deem valuable where it will probably help out balancing the schedule more.

The issue is like most issues in college football where it’s half assed & delaying the inevitable creating other issues. It is what it is & I know traditionalists don’t like it but there’s really no going back now. College football is different than most other college sports & frankly it’s been operating like a glorified pro league for some time now but not everybody involved has been a been a benefactor of that.

College football has been bought & sold along time ago at this point. Big business has owned this sport for a long time now. So why keep pretending otherwise? Revenue sharing for the players is inevitable as is super conferences with pro like schedules because ESPN & Fox pretty much control the SEC & Big Ten respectively anyway.

6.5 YPC After Contact! 8.9 YPC against 8 man boxes?!

I was looking up his recruiting profile. He was a late high school senior riser. On3 actually had him as a 4* & in their top 300.

I was curious because I saw some NFL draft guys on twitter talking about how he ended up at Boise State. They were painting it as a complete random outcome but I don’t think that’s totally the case actually looking up recruiting profile.

Edit: 247Sports had him as a 4* too albeit not in their top 247 rankings though.

The only thing making that game even better would have been that Alabama DB fumbling the ball and it being returned for a game-winning TD.

I'm like "Dude, WTF are you running for? JUST GO DOWN" GAME IS OVER
