They owe him a ton of money. He’s probably still good for around 10+ wins a year flaws & all. So you’re probably just praying he somehow figures out the defense there.

He’ll probably end up 7-5 this year when he loses to Oregon and UCLA.
That defense is softer than Charmin. The problem is the defense. The DL lacks depth and the LB is weak against the run. Still Grinch’s schemes are not functional with offenses being what they are today. Until Riley cans him, ten win seasons won’t happen.

Well obviously not this year but historically he’s usually pretty good for double digit win seasons so that’s going to buy him a lot of rope (along with his big contract) to hopefully for their sake get things figured out on defense.

Grinch is very likely not their DC next year. I seriously doubt the administration there lets Riley bring him back next year.

More importantly, he has the Eagles as Superbowl Champs... and making an absolutely hilarious pick for them. The offense should be stupid.
