Iowa is a mess on offense . All is right with the universe.

The run for 325 has been a funny meme but are they actually going to fire Brian Ferentz when push comes to shove? It seems there’s people in that industry that would be in the know that are skeptical.

You might get a better play caller if you do make the change but you’re probably not getting a full on philosophy change as long as Kirk is there.

They should just fire him now if that is in any way real. Or even if it isn’t it.

They won’t get ranked there but I wouldn’t push back at all for someone saying Washington as of now might be the #1 country.

Obviously it’s gonna be tough sledding this year in the PAC-12 with the quantity of quality of teams at the top of that league. That & the defensive side of the ball are probably what their ultimate upside hinges on going forward.

Minnesota blew a 31-10 fourth quarter lead to lose 37-34 to Northwestern yesterday. PJ Fleck is looking like another guy who might have stayed too long at a mid to low level P5 job when having higher level job offers/interest at points.

I just don't think there's an elite team or two like we're accustomed to seeing. If you've got a top 15 roster and a returning starter at QB, you've got as good a shot as anyone this year.

In the final SP+ preseason projections, the top four teams (Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan and Alabama) were pretty well separated from the pack. Only 1.2 points separated No. 1 from No. 4, but 5.3 separated No. 4 from No. 5. Now? We've got only 5.9 points separating No. 1 from No. 10. Michigan is your new No. 1 -- it's the fourth time the No. 1 ranking has changed hands in four weeks -- but with the weight of opponent and conference adjustments kicking in far more after four games, the Pac-12 as a whole has made a pretty serious move up the charts. The top three of Michigan, Georgia and Ohio State remains familiar, but three Pac-12 teams and two Big 12 teams are within reach of the No. 1 spot. This season could get very, very interesting in the coming weeks.
