Minnesota won 4-1. Pitlick officially off to the Frozen Four.

At least one of Hutson/Tuch or Pitlick will be in the National Championship as they will face each other in the semi-final.

Tomorrow we'll find out if Dobes will also make it to the Frozen Four. Ohio State face Quinnipiac.

Dobes in action today @ 4PM ET vs. Quinnipiac.

We'll see if Dobes can be the 3rd prospect to make the Frozen Four. I know there would be 4 prospects, but I lump Hutson & Tuch together since they're on the same team. And their fates are linked whether they win or lose.

It will be Dobes vs. Perets.

All eyes will be if Habs would sign the losing goalie. If Dobes loses, do the Habs sign him to turn pro? Chances are probably more that he will return to Ohio State next year. But the question is still worth asking. And if Perets loses, do the Habs become one of the teams vying to sign him as an undrafted UFA?

I haven't watched him a lot this year....kid had a great year...but is he always like that? Does he mostly use his athleticism to succeed 'cause if so, it won't translate well. Just asking.

Perets? He is known for being a very athletic butterfly goalie, great post to post, battler. His issues are he is useless with the puck and his glove hand is a concern. One detailed scouting report I read some time ago said he would get exposed at the NHL level because he aggressively angles his glove hand downwards.

Edit: Now I gave you something to watch lol. BTW He is technically a sophomore, so has two years left of eligibility but strong rumours several NHL teams will offer him to turn PRO.

6'1 imo should not be a turn off for teams when it comes to goalies.

100% agree. I would sign him if I was the Habs, give him a shot. DDO kid, leading NCAA in Winning % and Save %, yes he plays but bloody Quinnipiac but he is also part of the reason they are the best defensive team in the country.

His numbers are too insane to disregard.
