ACC started this garbage and mishandled it at every expansion. It’s pretty fitting that they could be reduced to a 3rd tier conference soon, if a conference at all.

ACC started this garbage in 2003 when the Big 12 destroyed the SWC in 1996?

This has been going on ever since the SEC went to 12 teams.

Very good hire. Drake is not an easy job, and 3 NCAA tournaments in 4 years when Drake had made the tournament a total of 4 times before DeVries arrived (1969, 1970, 1971, 2008) is a great resume.

And 150% not expected...I can't remember the last time State (in any sport really) played like this when it really mattered especially after such a putrid end to the season. We'll usually lose to an unranked team in a Bowl game or out the first round in any tournament and unranked ourselves within 2-3 games of being well-ranked

Also, I'm no Duke fan, but Duke-State game in Elite Right is just extra salt for Tar Hole fans!!

The NC State women's team also won last night and will face Texas in the Elite 8.
