NCAA/CHL Free Agents 2024

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
Collin Graf is going to be the most sought after NCAA free agent is a long time.I have seen him connected to 10 teams and apparently there's at least 25 teams in on him in some capacity.

Can't imagine he'd have Ottawa high on his list, but I'll definitely be interested to see how he pans out wherever he ends up. He could have signed last year but decided to run it back and he's done nothing but sky rocket his value.

Our pool is pretty empty. I'd be happy to sign a guy or two if they would instantly be in our top 10 prospect list.

Why didn't we draft him up with one of our 7th last year instead of Nicholas "I have 0 NHL future" Van Tassell?

Graf was 20 y/o maybe but had 59 pts in 41 games. Van Tassell has a whooping 2 points in 24 games and turns 20 y/o soon

Nice scouting Dorion bros

Because he wasn’t eligible to be drafted.

Gleb Veremyev and Grant Slukynsky could be worthwhile NCAA targets for the Sens.

I have been a fan of both players for years and advocated for them to be drafted.

Veremyev is 6'4 205 lbs center who can kill penalties and play a physical power game.
In the NCAA this season his stats are 34 GP 9 G 7 A 16 PTS

Slukynsky is 6'1 198 lbs center who absolutely dominanted USHS MN back in 2019-2020 with stats of 31 GP 39 G 62 A 101 pts. He has taken a while to develop but now this season in the NCAA he has stats of 34 GP 8 G 23 A 31 PTS.

Sasha Teleguine is another interesting target out of the NCAA. He is a 5'11 194 lbs center. He has had a slower development curve but now has stats of 32 GP 14 G 5 A 19 PTS.

I thought I saw somewhere where there was a big RD available this yr who was unsigned & having a very good yr?

Not sure if the Senators are going to be more active on this front under new management, but I'd keep an eye on Riley Thompson. Ottawa-area kid who's having a really strong year at OSU after transferring from Alaska-Anchorage. He has a pro frame at 6'4, 215 and really good hands in tight to the net. Plays heavy, pretty decent penalty killer too. Skating is going to have to improve a whole lot though.

Luke Haymes is another Ottawa kid that's drawing attention, but it sounds like he's probably going to the Leafs.
