Wacky day, BU looked as lost as the Bruins for a period, but managed to erase three one-goal deficits, four if you count the goal Ohio State scored just after the clock turned 0.0(end of the second). Now MSU couldn't shake Cornell, and Minn. State and Western are still going on ESPN2, UMass vs. Minnesota to follow.

Minny goalie has to come out up up 3-2, and within seconds Locmelis is able to tie the game (incorrectly assigned at the game to someone else)

BU/Cornell will be a war. The fact that the Cornell coach is retiring after this year is a wild card.
Congrats to UMass, but they got a huge break when the referee would not give the Minnesota goalie time to fix an equipment problem.

Here is the game highlights synched up to right before the game tying goal in the 3rd. Locmelis wins the draw and ultimately gets to the net and I'm still convinced he tips it in

On replay it looked like Chesley toe picked after some incidental stick contact to his leg and fell. But Middelstadt looks like he got highsticked but being a UMass grad, with a son who was one of the 3 kids who started UMass's ACHA Program, I have no issue with it...lol.
Its one game and a superior team can get goalied. Not that long ago Holy Cross upset
North Dakota in Colorado Springs in the Regional and as recently as January
UNLV'S ACHA D1 Team beat Denver's NCAA team.
