College Hockey NCAA 2024 - 25 season

BC is at a different level when they want to be
I was at both BC/BU games this weekend.

BU on Saturday starts the game with the stupidest penalty I have ever seen.

Hes promising. Has the size and athleticism. Caron is gone after this year and the roster options are slim. Not sure who (if anyone) they have coming next year. Higher draft pick, and they havent had an elite goalie since Oettinger. Its been a missing piece for some time.

Threw on the 3rd period of Harvard/BU Beanpot.

Not super close.

Not something I’ve ever really gotten into. Even when I was in grad school at Northeastern.

Beanpot tonight. Can watch on my tablet won't be blacked out traveling on DirecTV stream.

I'm a die hard PC fan for hockey so don't care about Beanpot but for Lacrosse I just bought BU seasons bc I enjoy those games so much in person. I want to root for Harvard they got a sick team this year but they have to get games off of the field hockey crap on Storrow and into Harvard Stadium.

remind me please, I know it`s a way off but when can college UFA`s be signed? Is it only after the conclusion of the Frozen Four? I have nobody on my radar as I`m simply not exposed to NCAA hockey to have my sights on anything but...

technically they can sign at any time, but they would lose remaining eligibility if they signed during the year, so that is very , very rare

Realistically players do not sign until their season ends. So for many players that will be after their team is eliminated in their conference tournament. If they make the NCAA tournament, then it becomes when their team gets eliminated, or wins the finals.

great info, thanks

Hopefully this follows same script as last year where BC lost to BU in pot after already beating them twice, then got the ultimate revenge in HE title game.

HE would have 6 teams in NCAAs as of today. UMass first team out due to auto bids.
