Official

NBC Sports Philadelphia and NBCSP+ are now officially on Peacock.

First time ever a cable choice you don’t need to get NBCSP

It’s official

So let’s say you have directv. If you have peacock and add the NBCSP to peacock. You are set.

Now this is for in market only.

Out of market example Phillies

You need MLB.TV but you can pick Phillies feed

Same thing with Flyers on NHL Center ice or ESPN + for out of market.

Or NBA League Pass for Sixers out of market

Big this is a big deal

It makes me want to contact their customer support and demand they cancel my subscription. I don't have a subscription, but it's the principle of the thing.
I just read that it’s priced different across markets. In California it’s $17.99 and Boston it’s $14.99.
Are the Phillies not on rabbit ear tv anymore? Or is this more for a watch on your phone type streaming? On that note is there a rabbit ear equivalent for tv on your phone?

Best guess is that this is for cord cutters. $33-38 isn't cheap for just Peacock and those channels (and hence, the games carried on those channels) but it's a lot cheaper than a full Comcast cable package if all you really want are the sports channels.

Yeah I'll just keep watching illegally. $25/mo is f***ing stupid

Yeah, it seems to me that they think that selling this service to a couple hundred bars/restaurants at a stupid price is going to be more profitable than pricing it reasonably and selling it to many more normal people. I bet they're wrong. This price point incentivizes illicit means and is going to drive down how much they make.

Well let's see what T mobile has to say about that because they give me mlb.tv for free
I get it for free through having a season ticket package also but the in-market games are blacked out.

From what I can tell, you can pay the $24.99 for the Phillies package but that's stupid because you can get the Phillies/Flyers/Sixers for $24.99 (plus $8 peacock).

I guess it's a win for people that have clamored to be able to pay to see their team and their team only but price point isn't there for me.

P.S. Other teams are cheaper.
