Is there any point to the NBA Cup? I just learned about it today and was like WTF is this? I guess just a mid-season cash generator + distributor? Does the 4 Nations tourney kind of exist because of NBA Cup? If so, why did they go with the weird country format? I guess it replaces the stale stale stale All-Star format we have? But it really screws non-4-Nation players and takes up extra days in the season so it's really quite inferior IMO.

The AS games will be pickup games. They don't count in the standings. I posted a link.

Ok, I'm asking about the NBA cup. Nothing to do with All-star pickups. There is a finals for the cup between Milwaukee and OKC. Winning team players bank 500k each. It's live tonight.

The NBA Cup group games are also regular season games and count in the standings. So are the quarters and semis, with modifications made to the schedule accordingly.

The championship game doesn't count.
