I think depending on the team, there closeout lineup will be this:

Brunson
Hart/Divo
Bridges
OG
Randle

You get a ton of switch potential on top of the offense being able to spread the floor and let Brunson get them into the right play. You've got threats all over the floor to shoot, and you aren't losing much in terms of rebounding without a true center since OG, Randle, and Hart can crash the boards well.

Even Divo isn't bad crashing the glass. He averaged 6.3 rebounds per game when he was in Milwaukee for the postseason whe they won it all.

This group is not going to get the respect of the national media outside a few, but this is the best team on paper in the east outside of Boston, for now.
 
That’s incredible for the Knicks. It’s a shame the Rangers can never get a stud that wants to win like that.

NBA money is already is silly territory. He's forgoing a chance at super silly money. The difference is if your great-great-grandchildren will never have to work or your great-great-great-great-great grandchildren will never have to work.

At a certain point it doesn't functionally matter anymore.

NHL money is nowhere close to that.

Panarin took less than other teams offered to come to the Rangers. It's also a totally different sport and Brunson has deep ties to the Knicks and is still making 3 times what Igor is asking.

The Knicks don't matter in this forum, because they have no fans here. If there were one Knicks fan here, they would know what every NBA fan knows, that Thibs has played starters too much every year since 2010-11. This is a hockey site and yes there are Knicks fans here. What exactly does Thibs playing some players big minutes have to do with anything that was being discussed about the Brunson signing?
