I can't see how they get DLo without giving up some of Robinson/Barrett/NYK firsts, There aren't other assets valuable enough.

Should've just signed him instead of the 4 PWFs, he probably would've loved staying in NY too.

I agree -- was never clear on why the Knicks didn't consider signing DLo this off-season, but I guess they were still hoping one of DSJ, Payton, Frank would seize the starting point guard spot. Imagine he would have loved coming to MSG after the Nets passed on him and getting to stay in NY and try and make the Nets look foolish for letting him go.

But at this point, if it's actually going to take one of Robinson/RJ/1st rounder to get it done -- no way. Top of the draft has a lot of interesting guards anyway.

I like Shamet a lot. This team needs shooters and he's a good, young shooter. Move on from the likes of Ellington and Bullock and get this guy to pair up with Dotson as SG options for this team.

The need to get as many young assets is paramount. Picks are nice, but they need some guys that they can actually play now.
