Nazar

Nazar is looking great out there, hawks need to deal Jones, cut ties with the next to useless aged players and open up spots for the young ones and make a big splash in the summer with UFA signings/trades to get this club out of the bottom quarter of the league.

He has been awesome. Wouldn’t even bother bringing this up in the SJ vs Chicago debate, but I might take Nazar over Smith going forward.

He’s doing more than Bedard lately. His speed stands out. If he can develop some finish and improve in faceoffs he’s going to be a great no2 center. I had some doubts with his hip injury and world juniors play but those are gone now.

Should be a wake up call for Bedard. Bedard should spend the summer doing skating drills with Frankie.

Went to the game Friday night, my brother lives less than 2 miles from the stadium. Had this set up since December hoping there was a chance for Ovie to break the record and if not for fumbling the breakaway with about 4 minutes left he would have. Anyway from my perspective Nazar and Moore were the best players for the Hawks and it wasn’t even close. 3rd best? In my opinion it was Rinzel. I left that game extremely confident about the future. I’ve been pessimistic since last year’s draft but watching the kids live has me pretty hopeful. Levshunov and Slaggert held their own and surpassed my expectations

Obviously McD didn't give him some skating lessons.

No, seriously, the game gets faster all the time, Bedard needs to be faster to play his game the way he wants to.
I don't think his shot has gone anywhere, I just think he has no time and space to do anything consistently enough right now because of the deficiencies in the things you listed
