Very interesting….

The plans that many major college athletic departments are making for how they will distribute new direct payments to their athletes would violate Title IX law, according to a memo published by the U.S. Department of Education on Thursday.

In some cases, athletic directors have publicly shared that they intend to provide upward of 75% of that money to their football players.

It sucks we are this bad and we pretty much have to plan for the 5th pick. (Look Detroit). One of the many reasons NBA is the worst pro league on earth

I just did about 10 sim lottery mocks and got 1st pick 0%

Just did 10 sims and the zards picked 5th 8 out of 10 tries with a 2nd and a 3rd the highest. Weirdly picking #2 and running the sim got much better returns. Picked 6th like five times but scored the 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th.

RIP Navy Radio voice Pete Medhurst

Awful news, beyond sad. Met Pete almost two decades ago when I was a Mid as he also did PxP for Navy lacrosse, basketball, and baseball in addition to football. He called lacrosse games for the Big Ten, select baseball games for the Nats, and was a mainstay on 106.7 and 980. Nobody loved Navy Athletics or the Academy in general more than Pete and he was terrific at every sport he called. He was a great person and his loss is tragic, I am broken up for his wife and kids.

Can't believe we won't get to hear another, "Into the checkerboard endzone! Touchdown. Navy!" RIP, Pete. Thanks for everything.
