Wouldn’t say they are insecure but I also agree that you the actual Avs fans aren’t the problem with this thread/topic. I haven’t heard or seen any of you tear down the oilers/McDavid or even proclaim MacKinnon as the superior player. None of you Avs fans from what I’ve seen have done anything of the sort. The thread was created by a notorious McDavid hater and the reason it has lasted this long is due to pens fans and other fans of oilers rivals rallying to troll and attack the oilers fans. If the oilers fans now come off as insecure that’s somewhat reasonable from your perspective but it is only because they have had to play defense from so many angles. The real problem isn’t oilers vs Avs fans it is pens, flames and leafs fans fanning the flames causing trouble.

1k comments in a few days. Watch any non-Oiler superstar do it and it doesn’t reach half the engagement. I respect HF’s commitment, couldn’t hate on McDavid’s play for the past few years so you gotta take all you can get.

Flames are understandable. Pens are too albeit it’s kinda weird to have such resentment for a team in another conference. Leafs fans though… just let 2015 go lmao.
