Your team is up 1-3 goals and the other team pulls their goalie with 1-5mins left and you help score a goal to most likely win the game, yet that is a bad thing... It’s not viewed as a “bad” thing. The argument is that the value of those points shouldn’t be weighted the same. I normally don’t bring up empty net points but Mackinnon is piling them up so fast you have to mention it when it comes to Hart discussions.
