the overall spirit of what you're saying is correct, mack simply doesnt have the hardware to have a huge talking point in his favour, but the 100 point seasons thing is a bit misleading; Mack has 3 other seasons of close to 100 points (99 points in 82, 93 points in just 69 games, 97 points in just 74 games). He also had 88 points in just 65 games in a season as well.
hypothetically he's had 6 seasons of 100+ point caliber performance based on pace and ppg, with this one about to be his 7th barring major injury.
up until just recent seasons, he was at one point I believe top 3 points per game all time in the playoffs, but even now ranks 5th all time among gretz, lemieux, mcdavid and drai (removing barry pederson by qualifying it as over 35+ games played in the playoffs)
