It wasn't because he bought the fake pass. It was because Letestu was supposed to be covering the other d-man on the weak side, who had a completely open lane. But his linemates all got trapped on the strong side. So Letestu tried to sort of half cover both until his linemate could cover the shooter, but it was a smart play by the shooter to walk in. It was a lose-lose situation for Letestu, who's a great defensive player.
