I was hoping it was the old Sabertooth logo on the front, still think it’s pretty cool. I would buy one if I was a Preds fan

That's a jersey alright
I agree, better than any in the GTA.

Other than that,

Why isn't the shoulder saber tooth crest the main logo???
What a missed opportunity

They even make a giant standup of the saber tooth, but then make the jersey a hoodie from sears

I actually like the jersey quite a bit. The Habs-style chest-stripes look quite sharp, and overall it's very clean and the colours pop.
Too bad they chose to go with the script logo instead of the tiger-head however, which would have looked infinitely better.

The tiger-head is an absolute beauty, but losing the script would sacrifice the Dixie Flyers call-back. To this Nashville hockey fan, the tribute to the low key but real history of the sport in the city makes this jersey.

The truth of it is that it’s hard for the away whites to match up to the home colors in general. But I think this sweater holds its own.

As someone who hates the normal Nashville jerseys, I think this one is actually a pretty nice design.
The wordmark is terrible though (I know it's a tribute but that doesn't make it better).

Reminds me of that Robin Williams skit where the design committee explains to God how they constructed the male anatomy.

"Well uhh... It's ugly."

I know the Dixie Flyers aren’t relevant to most people on this forum, but for comparison here are pictures of the classic mid 60s sweaters that the WC look is based on.

The color photo is Flo Pilote, longtime Nashville blueliner who retired in the area and opened a hockey bar in Hermitage (a neighborhood several miles east of downtown). The bar has been closed for some time, but he’s still around, and I bet he’s thrilled about this tribute.

I can definitely understand that. As a neutral fan however, I would have thought the yellow colour, and the aforementioned chest-stripes would have been enough to pay tribute to the flyers. Use the script logo on the shoulders and helmets if you must.

Just seems such a shame to have such a fantastic logo (the retro-look sabre-tooth-tiger) and relegate it to secondary duty.

I would probably be in love if they removed the Nashville Predators text and put their logo or a reworked logo in its place.

I don't think it's that bad. It's a simple and clean jersey, if they had put that secondary sabre tooth logo on the front people would complain that it didn't fit.

I hear you. I hope there’s a practice jersey with the tiger-head because I like it more than the current logo.

Unfortunately the away team in the Winter Classic seems to always get shorted on the uniform design, but to my eyes they did a good job with this considering the requirement for away whites.
