Did they have to go with white jerseys ? Considering the Stars are probably going to be green i don't think a yellow - green matchup wouldn't have been a problem.

Well, that's disappointing. I thought they were going to use the raisined sabertooth as the logo. At least it would have had some character.

As a longtime fan of Nashville hockey, I love it. The Dixie Flyers were before my time (I moved to Nashville from hockey country by the time the South Stars were playing). I met Flo Pilote at his bar before it closed a few years back and I always have loved the Dixie Flyer’s gold sweater with the cursive writing. This homage might not be for everyone, but for those of us with roots in Nashville ice hockey, it’s perfect.

Yep seems to be getting decent early reviews from Preds fans. Would have loved to have seen the same thing in yellow and blue, but they are set on the away team being in white I guess.

Lots of fans were hoping for a Dixie Flyers tribute and they got it.
