J.T. Miller reeks of the type of deal Trotz would make to try and "save" the season. That is NOT something I would get behind.
There is nothing that can be done to save this season. Looking at the current standings, 95 points gives us a shot to grab the last wild card spot. We would have to produce at a 123 point pace over 82 games. (33 wins and 11 losses)... Not even sure 95 would be enough based off loser points. Even then, we would do absolutely zero against playoff teams.

All that to say, if NoNeck makes a JT Miller type acquisition, I will be beyond pissed.

Oh, you don't have to convince me. At this point, I'll just be pissed off if we had to watch this entire year without getting a top 6ish draft pick. If somehow, we can actually get lucky enough to get 1OA, I will be honest and say I was ok with the year.

"With the first overall pick, the Nashville Predators select Sieve Pickard-Finley."

If the Devils want to send us Nemec for ROR, you do that all day long. We're not going anywhere this year. Nemec is a good, young RHD prospect. We need to be getting younger and better on the ice. Our top 3 RHD are Blankenburg, Schenn and Barron. You're not going anywhere with those 3 on the right side unless we added prime Lidstrom and Stevens on the left side to help out Josi.

Not sure if Vancouver would do it but a Josi for Patterson swap would be interesting.
I don't think that's going to happen, but if Vancouver is willing to give us Pettersson for Josi, do it.

This core is going absolutely nowhere. We need to rebuild and get younger, a coaching change, and probably a GM change at this point.

I do believe we have seen the extent of where we are going with this core group. It's time to put them out of their misery.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind some of our core guys—not just our young guys—going other places and getting a real chance in the playoffs with a better organization. It seems like we need to bottom out really hard to snap some people out of the trance they're in.

Anybody else wondering how many beer league guys will be dressing for the Admirals by the end of this season?
The Admirals still have a few players on their roster that they can use. Wall played the last game. I did not see Schaefer or Campbell or the new forward.

Statsney will be more difficult to replace.
Is Ekholm or Bobby Orr available?

The Ads have home games on Friday versus Iowa and Saturday versus Grand Rapids. Those are must win games if Milwaukee wants to get out of 4th place! Those are games 2 and 3 of 5,which is the longest home stand of the season. That will be followed by 5 road games, including pairs at Charlotte and Texas.

100%. I'm OK keeping Forsberg to play with his countryman, but any other vet, including the captain, I'm fine saying "adios" to.

Guess we will see how Taylor can do working with duct tape and bailing wire.

Anyone else worried that with all this turnover and all our scoring does Kemmell hasn't been given a look?

Vinnie blocked him or Bellows from coming up.

It's probably better he stays in Milwaukee, don't you think? As one of our young draft picks, he might be traded for a box of Girl Scout cookies if he was brought up.
