An underperforming (well, he's still only 20 I think) prospect that seems to easily be disgruntled over playing time and doesn't want to be in the AHL (Viqsi will correct me). Sounds like a perfect fit.

In one way, he is a fit. He's a RHD who doesn't want to play much defense. So he fits Bruno's system.

Trade for the guy that got knocked out of the lineup for Fabbro.

Maybe we getting ready to trade out a forward to make room for svechkov. Feels like we are grasping at straws though.

We're going to trade a promising young forward whose development we tried to kill, and a 1st, for a defenseman who's probably no better than Fabbro at this stage. Perds hockey baby.

I just can't imagine them moving anyone other than Del Gaizo out of the line up, moving Josi back to the left.

We only have 6 dmen on the roster.

The easy money is on Tomasino, Parssinen, and Evangelista hanging out in the press box.

We're going to trade a promising young forward whose development we tried to kill, and a 1st, for a defenseman who's probably no better than Fabbro at this stage. Perds hockey baby.

I don't see us getting anyone who checks the boxes Fabbro checks.

We don't want a guy who's middle career, since we only play grizzled veterans. We also don't want guys that are defensive dmen. We prefer older Tyson Barrie types.

We might settle for a prospect though, apparently. Not that Bruno will play him.

Nah; his problem is that he's not strong on his skates and he doesn't seem to want to do anything about that. So he'd also be scratched again and again and again and again.

Somehow Bruno didn't get Jank back in the lineup.

PS: To add to Emma's xeet: Tomasino was noticeable to me in the Seattle game. He was really hustling all over the place. It was ROR and Stamkos who were completely invisible for like a period. Never had their name called, never had the puck, never even really seemed to be in the camera frame for that matter...

I think at some point somebody needs to demand an explanation because seriously what the actual f***

I wish I was part of the media. Pars/Tom/Vange have had consistent o-zone time and after a couple of games they get broken up and then they hit the press box in various combos for reasons unknown. Yet guys who are supposed to bring an identity to the team stay in the lineup night after night without bringing any sort of identity to the team.

I'd change the lineup to 6 vets and 6 kids up front.
Vets - Fil, ROR, Gus, Stamkos, March and Sissons
Kids - Vange, Phil, Pars, Novak, ZLH and Svech

There's enough there to make it work. And honestly, if it doesn't, ship Sissons off to LA and bring back Jeannot to provide some spark to the team.

I can't believe I agreed to go to the game with a friend of mine tonight. Debating on wearing a bag or not.

Nobody will ask, "beat reporters" will throw out vague reasoning about "fit" and "they just like X player" better, and the org will continue to be proud about their strong relationship with the media and transparency with the fans.
