Season Ticketholder Blues. I'm staring at three home games in 4 days and not motivated to go to any of them. It's been over 10 years since we've played meaningless games in February. I thought I was prepared for this, but I'm not. After watching the frenetic pace of the USA-Canada games, the thought of watching the Preds slog up and down the ice is depressing.

Can we tap out and go straight to the Draft?

I'm not optimistic the draft is going to be any less depressing

This team is so desperate to be "hard to play against" that we are actually icing Englund.... just makes me sad

This. Exactly. I’m usually pumped with 2 weekend home games after a 2 week break. Even when we were a bubble team in previous years at this point in the season, I’d have optimism and hope.
I don’t have that right now and trying to find reasons not to go to either game.
I hate this feeling.

So reading that and lookin at the schedule.... we should be mathematically eliminated in a week

Moneypuck has us at 0.2% to make the playoffs and 8.7% for the 1OA pick.

I'm thinking us putting guys in the lineup that other teams literally gave us for free might be our push to pass Chicago in the race to the bottom. SJ will be hard to catch and they've already started their garage sale.

Conversely the Preds have given up the useful players. It's almost like Trotz thinks all the GMs give up useful players through waivers.
