Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. That's quite out of the blue. Cap websites were basically just assuming that it had been dropped or quietly gone away, that the Philadelphia termination was legit past the 60-day window on the initial filing, and that we also were effectively off the hook. Philadelphia is probably just about excited as we are that this is finally getting dealt with... uh... fully 6 months after it happened (the termination was originally announced on August 20th, 2024). Way to go NHL. I know your people have been REALLY busy handling... all the other grievances out there?...

With the massively rising cap, this may be the last time to really capitalize on some teams with no cap space. Take on a few expiring bloated contracts to help facilitate trades. Use that capspace and hopefully gain another retention slot.
Why do I still have a soft spot in my Pred Heart for Joey? Joey flamed out (if it's possible to have "Joey" and "flame" in the same sentence) on us way too early. Yet, he was our 1C for the best two years of our franchise. JOFA was an elite line, and Joey was an assist magician. He was also a great guy who loved Nashville.
