Meh. I like the horns.

At least part of the building is loud outside of a goal. That whole section is fun as hell. The only thing I dislike from the Diablos is that forced, cheesy "WE ARE JERSEY" chant. That's brutal.

I don't mean to be mean sounding but the responses on here come off as "GET OFF MY LAWN! Old personish". Just as was seen in a certain thread...

This is a sporting event. You are supposed to be LOUD AND ROWDY. Why is this such a hard concept for some to get?

It's one thing when people are naturally loud, it's another when they're artificially loud using props with high-pitched sound. If you want artifically loud go to a concert and stand next to a boombox for two and a half hours. That's what the Diablos section has been like the last couple of weeks.

Devils have outscored their opponents 9-0 with 7NA as the goal song.

Technically 9-1 since it was the goal song of record during the Flyer abomination.

Ugh, let's try to forget that game.

Finally watched the game.

Good for Zajac and Tedy. That line looked good, but really liked that Ted - Lokti - Bernier line.

Peter ****ing Harrold had the 2nd most TOI for defenseman last night, and 3rd overall on the team.

Seriously?

On another note, I really need to remember to set games to record when I'm not gonna be around. Only saw the last 12 mins of the game last night.

If I remember correctly, that was Tedenby's first goal using a stick since April 2011. The one he got in December 2011 was off his body as he crashed the crease. I hope this is a confidence booster, but if Elias is back Tuesday, DeBoer can just as easily send him to the press box to keep Cam Janssen or Stephen Gionta in the lineup.

Wow that's pretty bad.

And yeah it'd be nice to have him get a few games now that he's actually playing a little better but he's probably the first option out of the lineup when Elias gets back, I agree.

People worry that Cory's not going to like losing, now we're worried he's not going to like sitting when we're winning lol. He's going to get a game in the back-to-backs this week and next week. Marty'll play three games by next Saturday and Cory two...we'll see where the rotation goes from there.

Cory didn't exactly sign as a free agent here to escape the dual starter environment he was accustomed to in Vancouver. In fact, he shined despite it, so I don't get why everyone wants to inflate the issue of being in the exact same type of setting here. Cory and Marty both have the perfect attitudes for what the team needs - sporadic quality starts.

I know we like to focus on the more dramatic story lines, but I don't think we need to fabricate them. I leave that to Chere.

Janssen's goal is not bad, going to the net as furiously as that and banging it home. No hesitation whatsoever, not everybody does that. That's actually a goal Kovy would never produce lol.

I know that ultimately no one wants to have him in the lineup, myself included, but I am so happy for Cam. He must be having the time of his life right now. He's a good guy in the end and clearly loved by his teammates, so I hope by some miracle this manages to continue.

It'll be interesting to see which three players are scratched when Salvador, Elias, and Clowe come back.

Edit. I forgot about Janssen and Gionta.

In: Elias, Clowe, Salvador, Josefson

Out: Tedenby, Janssen, Harrold

My favorite part of the whole game last night (aside from Teddy showing why he was first round pick with that snipe) was after Jagr got called out for the first star and the look on his face was "please Deb, don't call me over for an interview." He gets back to the bench after quickly acknowledging the fans and she called. He slumped over like ughhhhhhhh, fine:laugh:

I'm a little concerned coach is gonna shove Cory aside for a while. And it might bite us in the backside.

I don't see why he'd want to leave the situation he's in. Brodeur is ending his career in a year or two, Cory knows the job's his completely after that. And his hometown is like 4/5 hours away from you guys. He's an east coast guy. I think you have all the reason in the world to believe he's staying long term with you guys.

Glad I'm not the only one who saw that.

I think many here were still basking in the glow of Cam "Gregger" Gretzky's goal to notice. :sarcasm:

He may want to "go home" to Boston. We've had a few players do that to us recently.
