Nashville not providing update on Josi until after season - did Bennett end his career?

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Can't tell if you're trying to troll or your serious, because Bennett literally was the one to start swinging at Domi before Domi dropped the gloves. But I'm not surprised you'd write something like this.

"Fight" starts at about 35 seconds, Domi literally has gloves on while Bennett starts swinging. Clown post LOL

But sure buddy Domi started throwing first

Guys a little bitch and the dirtiest player in the league, but I'm sure you think he's tough for hitting guys from behind or punching guys who aren't ready for a fight.

Domi had one glove off and swung first. Wtf are you watching?

He hasn't played since being boarded by Bennett a few weeks ago. Long history of concussions and is turning 35. Could Josi hang em up?

Bennett hit:

Given that the Preds go nowhere this season it makes zero sense under any circumstances to bring Josi back, a guy that is currently dealing with concussion no. 8 or so… it is clear to me, that he is probably one more concussion away from shutting down his career if he wants to avoid serious troubles after his playing career.

According to a report out of Switzerland he is working daily to get better and would like to represent Switzerland at the world championship if he is healthy enough. I seriously doubt that the preds will give permission but we will see…

Bennett has somehow managed to escape any consequence from being a dirty POS injuring players. Rempe, Tom Wilson, Kadri, etc can't sneeze without DOPS coming for them.. Meanwhile I've lost count how many players Bennett has seriously injured or concussed and he has no where near the same reputation.

Will be interesting to see if he leaves Florida if suddenly the DOPS pays attention after Gregory Campbell isn't pulling strings with his dad and the NHL anymore.
Yeah, Bennett has never not been a grade A moron. He does so much reckless shit

That should've been a major and a suspension. Terrible hit.

Terrible outcome yes, terrible hit eh, wouldn't say that. He was barely going 5mph, little crosscheck in the back, something that happens at least every game. That one is more about unfortunate position to the boards that made it worse than it should've been and Josi's injury history than it is about the hit.

"Just a little hit from behind, no big deal!!!"

And then to blame it on Josi's positioning, which was established for several seconds...are you being serious? It’s not an "unfortunate" position if Bennett controls himself better

This reminds me of the parent that fights with the coaches at their sons little league games. "My kid did nothing wrong!"
Where did I say he never does anything wrong? He plays with an edge, he can cross over it, so does Kucherov. When it comes to the Domi fight, he hooked Bennett, took the first swing (funny you talk about swinging when the other guy isn't ready, in most of Bennett's fights that's not the case, but Domi does just that here) and gets light up. What's worse is Domi thinking he "got em" with the hair taunt. Weak.

He didn't control himself better which is why he got two minutes. I'm not saying it's a legal hit, I'm saying it's a fairly minor play that ended up badly.

LOL He doesn't play with an edge. Matthew Tkachuk plays with an edge. Bennett is just straight up chicken shit dirty.

Big difference, it's laughable to try and justify the shit he pulls as "tough" or "playing with an edge"

There is absolutely nothing tough about running guys from behind into the boards, or headshotting guys, or grabbing guys from behind and slamming their heads into the ice, or swinging at your opponent before he drops the gloves, but you're more than welcome to keep believing otherwise.

So? Domi threw his right glove first and the first swing. Suggesting him having one glove on when Bennett swings back is somehow a chicken shit move on Bennett’s part because Domi wasn’t prepared or whatever, is just some homer BS
The clip zooms into them after Bennett has already dropped the gloves and is full on clinching, I'm not a rocket scientist or anything but I'm pretty sure you have to drop both of your gloves and grab a guy in order for the camera to catch that frame.

Regardless, it's about his hit on Josi, I was using that as an example to show that he's been a chicken shit dirty player for a very long time. It's crazy that he didn't get anything for that hit. The shit this guy pulls doesn't belong in the game, it's not hockey, it's not tough, it's not playing with an edge, it is straight up dirty, cowardly and with clear intent to injure.
