And here I thought that by getting of rid of the people who were ****ing up this team, it would mean instant great results?

Where are those people anyway? Therrien.....DD......Barberio......all gone and yet....still the same ****ing uninteresting play, and borderline results. Strange how it is. Good news is that people will FINALLY see what needs to be seen. Show me the talent!

Not available/too expensive/Not a good fit/the window is eternal anyway, no rush.

Looking around the league.... Man it's a very low scoring night.

2-0 sens in the 3rd
1-0 caps in the 3rd
A couple 1-1 games in the 3rd

This offence is dry as hell. It's, essentially, three players.

The Preds aren't dominating; it's our offence that is sooooooooo bad. Radulov is getting frustrated. I think Danault has been rattled by his teammate's fits on the ice. He looks completely frozen and afraid to make a mistake. Intimidated. That is why Muller talked to him a long time.

Radulov needs to calm his **** a little here. No use for that type of behavior. He hasn't played a fantastic game himself either. In fact, since Julien took over, I'd say he played 2-3 solid games max. I'm wondering if the contract situation is bothering him. I mean, besides his 4-point night, he had like, what, 1 point in 9 games?

It makes no sense that so many of our forwards can't get a damn point. Danault, Lehkonen, Byron -- okay, they're not 20-goal scorers, but they're not zero-goal scorers either. Something has to give. Same with Gallagher, who was a 20+ goal scorer up until a few months ago.

Something has to give.

I prefer to think that Radulov knows he made a bad pass and that's why he was mad. He wasn't mad at Danault, he was mad at himself. That pass was way ahead of Danault. He had zero chance to one time that.

This. Even terrible teams score 2 goals per game

Therrien, DD and Barberio were not good, plain and simple. These results don't change that fact. I wonder why you still harp on that. It's over with, we got rid of a very bad coach. I like the way we play, personally. Very tight. Problem is that this team just lacks talent. It's evident to see. Just no talent after the first top-3.

Even if Im not proud of not being able to get offense this deadline, MB has made the best deadline the Vanek's year and the best UFA summer this year with Radulov. Thats only why I would give him redemption. He's already proven us that he's able to be the best at this two specifics moments.... but we cannot always be the winner

Danault would have as much success playing on Crosby's wing as center with Patch and Radulov. THAT is the point.

We don't have a Crosby or Malkin. Instead we have Price, Weber, Patch and Radulov.

No team is stacked at all positions.

The point is that it's silly to make a ridiculous claim such as "If Danault is playing at *insert position* you're a bad team"

Nah, the point is that everybody who wins the Cup and go far do NOT need their best player to be the goalie. And most teams who go as far as have more than 1 offensive real star on their lineup with d-men that can pass the puck and play a great transition game. THAT what a team should be made of. That's the recipe for success. Aside from Boston, that's what worked since this new NHL came in.

So fine...don't be stacked at EVERY position. But be stacked at the RIGHT ones.

Pretty boring game by the Habs.

There is zero offense on this team.

You can see Rads getting frustrated with Danault, who while I love him as a player is completely miscast as a #1 center.

I would try him with Lehkonen and Gally. Take some pressure off and get him away from the tight checking. Chucky hasn't been bad in this game. Promote him.
