Bergevin hoping players like Plekanec, Gallagher, Mitchell, Byron etc. would wake up to provide offense was the hail mary call thats going to sink us this season.

I seriously wonder how the players felt when PK got that massive ovation. I'm sure some of them were happy for him but what about the ones who had issues with him?

Uninspired first period. Not much happening for the Habs offensively. Predators look much more dangerous, once again Price seems to be very busy.

Liking Jordie (horrible name) Benn's play so far. He seems to be very solid out there.

Probably privately roll their eyes like they did when he was a habs.

Aren't you the guy who claimed Subban was better than Weber and switched tunes as soon as Weber got traded here?

right after Subban won the Norris + was the best player in the playoff? Yes sure. Just like people here talk about Weber not being a top pairing dman people who are in the moment can often be foolish

Is there honestly any other player in the NHL who gets as excited for a teammate scoring a goal like PK Subban?

I still can't believe MB did a one for one trade between Subban and Weber. Based on Weber's age and contract, he should've gotten more from Nashville.

100% this.

I'm paraphrasing his words were :

"When you are offered a guy like Shea Weber you don't ask for more"....Why the hell not it's called negotiation , especially when you have leverage (younger guy with a recent Norris and more reasonable contract).

"He's a diamond in the rough"...I don't think he knows what that means.

What an absolute joke. (So many suppressed emotions coming out)

Shaw literally has no brain. Really wish he wasn't here. He was the same hothead growing up. It'll never change.

So much for wanting character guys.
