I gotta say, even though the Habs still struggle to score, their game looks so much better under Julien. It's actually nice to watch.

I'd call this "different". PK is not even in the solar system as St. Patrick.

Conn Smythe Trophy
1986-87
William M. Jennings Trophy
1987-88
William M. Jennings Trophy
1988-89
William M. Jennings Trophy
1988-89
Vezina Trophy
1989-90
Vezina Trophy
1991-92
William M. Jennings Trophy
Vezina Trophy
1992-93
Conn Smythe Trophy

Indeed... 95% of us on this board are too young to remember the truly great players who played for this team and really achieved great things.

Roy was like a god. Subban is really good though.

Roy won 2 conn smythe with the habs. The love was a heck of a lot more justified. But he was also a self serving egostitcal jerk who took the first chance to get out of Montreal he could when the situation wasn't perfect for him anymore.

No... he only ever requested a trade once and apologized afterward, only to be told a deal would be made no matter what.

You drink too much kool-aid.

As much as everyone hates Bergy for the trade at least he was classy enough to allow a tribute..He didn't have to whatsoever.

Don't you dare say something nice about Bergevin. He trade our lord and savior and the most glorious player to have the grace to wear this jersey.

He understands the media as well as anyone. He would have been flogged in the media had he not allowed it.

Not doing a tribute would've been a bigger deal in the media. The Habs hate controversy above all. This was more of a smart PR move than anything else. I doubt Bergevin had any say in it.

Bergevin would have been killed in the building if he didn't do a tribute.

I would not have put it passed him to put up a tribute video to Weber instead. Or like a video of Bergevin shopping at Banana Republic and Topman, then the footage of him on the phone making the trade call.

The thing though is can you recall any defenseman in the last 20 years being traded while in his prime(no dip in play) with a Norris to his name?

All signs point to this trade being 100% personal , which is just an awful way of making business decisions.
Chris Chelios?

He'd have been ripped mercilessly if he didn't. He had no choice there.

Danault had to take the shot there but I'm liking our play and patience with the puck in the offensive zone.

Slowly but surely.

Why not both? Do you not have favourite players? It's the individuals that make the team.

I do, but the team winning is what I enjoy the most. I don't follow players who have moved on or been traded away to other teams. Any player not wearing a Hab jersey is by default the enemy, heck even cheering for other teams to win when it benefits Us feels weird lol.
