It really feels the Preds organization was like "get this guy outta here!" Wonder if something happened between the player and the team?

I wonder why Nashville doesn't want him in Milwaukee?

Definitely a little weird, especially after they dealt Frederic Allard on deadline day, they only have one right shot D on the roster. Although they could get Matt Tennyson back eventually.

LD: Davies | Farrance | Donovan | Del Gaizo | Healey
RD: Blujus

Maybe Toronto wanted a closer look for if/when Myers gets bought out in the summer and Nashville was amenable?

I remember when the Flyers signed him and for a while there was a lot of hype about him being a potential top pair beast with his size, shot and mobility combo. Dominated the Q, looked great as a young AHL player and made Team Canada for the 2019 World Cup. There was talk about him having a ceiling as high if not higher than Sanheim. Obviously injuries and missed time have done a number on his development curve but he’s also just flat out stagnated.

(Note - not throwing Flyers fans under the bus here, we all overhype guys and frankly their was an immensely appealing raw package with Myers that was definitely getting people excited for good reason).

Odd that Nashville would be so eager to move on from him after one abbreviated season of 27 games, even if he has underwhelmed.

Not to start a rumour, wonder if something happened behind the scenes? Like hit on someone’s partner or something, shit says right in NHL circles but look at harmonic

We'll never find out... but would be interesting to know how much of Myers' salary the Leafs/Marlies are going to pick up.

Somewhat suprises me that the Leafs couldn't get a late, late round pick for Biega; with a side-deal to pay the rest of Myers' salary for the year.

I think Nashville would have to pay it regardless of where he's playing in the AHL.
Not if he is claimed on waivers. He would then be property of the claiming team. A team can't claim the loan.

He already cleared waivers. I was referring to the fact that he's Nashville property yet playing for the Marlies.

In that scenario Nashville is still paying his salary, no?
