An average back up is 16+ spots higher than him in ranking. Give us a top 15 goalie in the league and we have the Metro locked up.

Yep. Even doing 3 in 4 Kooch wins tonight's game easily, and he's had his share of issues this year as well.

I'm not too worried about the overall game. It's a game where a point feels like both a good and bad outcome. It's kinda bullshit to get two six game road trips with big western components and then have a back to back off it. I think they are still going to trend in a decent direction here and the tough circumstances of tonight don't change that.

That's not to say they might not have decisions on a few guys that keep killing them and they definitely need a goalie upgrade.

That breakdown on the game tier was so disappointing. Raanta had been great in the period. He needed that W for his confidence. They allow a point blank chance off the rush. Lock it down Canes.

If RBA is going to continue to run 2 D in OT, I’d much rather have TDA out there with Slavin over Burns at this point. Burns is just too slow.

On the OT faceoff, Burns zigs instead of zags. He should have been able to gain possession of the puck. Instead Nashville gains possession and is able to establish their rush. And I like how he and Staal are strategizing just prior. Good plan.
