Meh. I actually think McDavid shouldn't get suspended. He's literally targeted every game and Garland was holding his arm and then mugging him. I think context matters when it comes to the players that sell tickets

as far as Bouchard. He was holding Pettersson before all of it went down after he went in on the forecheck in his corner. The crowd and bench were going crazy. A ton of shots were going back and forth and then when Myers who was really pissed off stood his ground he skated right into his grill. It's certainly worthy of a game give the area of contact and timing but Bouchard should be smarter than that. He had the Canucks pretty fired up

As I've stated multiple times, both McDavid and Myers deserve to get a 2 game suspension based on Matthews doing the same thing.

That being said, Bouchard had Pettersson pinned down to the ice earlier in the game and didn't crosscheck Bouchard in the head. McDavid lost his cool and deserves a suspension. If you're arguing that McDavid was allowed to crosscheck Garland, then you would have been alright with Pettersson crosschecking Bouchard in the head?

There's a reason why it's against the rules, Pettersson played within them, McDavid didn't. That's the difference.

This is actually dumb. What a dumb take. If you get tripped or held that doesn't mean you can 2 hand cross check someone in the face. This logic is really something.
