My list is quite limited, thus the top 10 is over half of my board.....I'll have more time for viewings later.

1. Schaefer
2. Misa
3. Hagens
4. Eklund
5. Martone
6. Kindel
7. Bear
8. Smith
9. Lakovic
10. Schmidt

Edit: Note that half of these names are from the WHL, which gives an idea as to my schedule hehe.

Most of the Euros and college players need further investigation. I'd assume some of the top 10 slots would change.

Guys I've left off my top 10 for now:

Desnoyers
Carbonneau
Spence
Reschny
Fiddler
Hensler
McQueen*
Mrtka

Could be a Schaefer/Misa/Frondell top 3 by final rankings. Might be a gap after those. At least for me. Said already in past that I'm not huge on Hagens (i like him but see his ceiling as a 50-60pt support playmaker in NHL, good but not great) and Martone (uncomfortable projecting him as I'm not sure his game will fully translate).

Frondell's skating will get better with age.

I still have some watching to do but right now I am thinking

1. Schaefer
2. Misa
3. Hagens
4. Martone
-----------
5. Frondell
6. McQueen
7. Eklund
8. Desnoyer
---------
9. Spence
10. Bear
HM
Smith
Lakovic
Mrtka

Desnoyer I definitely need more viewings of but i feel inclined to put him where I did based on reading.
That top 10 looks good but I'm not sure that Spence will be in the top 10, would put Smith there.

Also there are some other interesting HM's in Brady Martin and Ryabkin who are making solids pushes and there are always one or 2 later risers who have a great finish and show something in the playoffs.

One thing is fore sure though after the top 3 it becomes really wide open with different teams probably having guys all over the place.

Yeah, I really like Spence as a player, but you are probably right that top 10 is rich for him. since making that list I'm inclined to at least move Bear ahead of him, likely Mrtka and Lakovic too.

Also, Frondell is officially in the top tier for me, and I think I am ready to put him ahead of Martone too.
