I remember my cable temporarily cut out during the Game 7 OT against the Bruins in 2013. I had to go sit in my car and listen on the radio at one point. Cable came back in time for me to see the loss live.

So it could be worse.

Gotta cover the bases, I haven't had one in at least 20 years, but if I did it'd be unplugged.

cable is great, but on the tv upstairs with no cable i login through Shaw and get the "commercial in progress" which is beautiful if you dont mind being behind 30 seconds and avoiding betting ads.

In game 5 there was a literal power outage from 7:00 - 9:15 in my condo complex. I missed almost all of the game. Was almost glad they didn't win.

To all the people who are doing streams because they don't have cable. Two legal options

1. Youtube - Watchalong with Steve Dangle - mute - and stream radio call from fan590 or tsn1050
2. If you have a smart TV, get the App CBC Gem, it is free but has like a 60 second delay so stay off of any website with live updates. i.e. nhl.com, hfboards, turn off phone

Illegal streams it is.
