My stream f***ing cut out 15 seconds before the OT goal and I missed it live

If it makes you feel better, we're all watching 20 - 60 seconds late due to the latency in the video processing and in the feed. The only people who truly saw it live were at the game. We all witnessed the 19 year curse being lifted slightly after it happened. You didn't get to have the illusion that you were seeing it live, but you saw it nonetheless while the vibe was still in the room.

Although I also hate SNNOW due to its buffering, my suggestion is you keep it. Assuming you don't have cable, you don't really have a more reliable option. Just give their customer support an earful.

Im going to get some money back. Legit. They will at minimum give me a free month. Cuz that is some bullshit.

Your stream was lagging. The Leafa scored and it was total black out. Im surprised the internet survived
 
You didn't pause at couple of times during the OT period putting yourself behind by a couple of minutes? Because the end of games kept getting cut off when I was using SNNOW. It seemed to lose the stream permanently once the live game ended in actual time. It was regular season but still irritating to miss the OT goal or late 3rd period action because I had paused the game for a couple of minutes to do a few quick chores.

On Directv centre ice, the Sportsnet Ontario feed often goes black when they switch cameras or something. If I want to channel hop and switch between games I just watch the other team’s feed.
I haven’t watched much of the Blue Jays this year, but they black out too last year.
 
If it’s any consolation at all, the only game all year I did NOT record was game two.
And though I recorded all the OT wins, in EACH case I forgot to extend the recording past the program time so I missed recording EVERY winning goal.

And no kidding, when they were down in game 5, my kid and I stopped the recording late in the game…thinking it was bad luck for the team. Scored literally seconds after we hit ‘stop’

Just a lil too late I guess.

Maybe there’s some fate or karma in there.
 
I currently have SNNOW and it's maybe buffered on me one time, for like 4 seconds. It's been great and the quality is much better than CBC Gem or Shaw Direct, I find those get pretty choppy and you can't see the puck if it's a hard pass/shot.

I love the CBC, but I cannot watch hockey on it. The quality is too bad, and as bad as SNNOW is it's better than CBC. Also it's true, if you're delayed on SNNOW because you paused or started late (which is a great feature), it can spontaneously skip to the live feed ruining your day (and almost certainly will when the live feed officially ends.) You're only hope is to close you eyes and back out, then restart and sllloooowly fast foward to part you were at. DVRs were much better in that respect but I'm no millionaire or senior citizen so cable isn't an option ;p

Sorry the feed cut at such a bad time. On the plus side WE WON!

I have Bell satellite so I saw it live. I am always way ahead of Rogers tv.
