Speaking of nerdiness.

I have to make an advertisement for our plastic surgery website that will make people want to hover over it and click it. Which one do you guys like?

the middle one is probably the best balanced. I like the pic on the right more, as I don't have to read or think as much, but the 'FIND OUT MORE' text box makes it very busy.

Cool. Thanks for the feedback. I like the middle one as well, my only issue is, on a page full of information will customers know to hover over it?

The pictures themselves are easily changeable though.

the 'find out more' doesn't tell you that hovering does anything. If they want more info, they'll move their mouse there anyway to try and click it first.

How would it work for touch screen users?

True.

I'd make it compatible or make a mobile version. It's really just a prototype, they asked me to come up with a few ideas for the main page.

Sooo I just tried to call TurboTax to ask why they didn't file my stuff with the IRS... I dialed 800 in the first part instead of 888... and got a phone sex hotline. Imagine my surprise when I expected to be talking about my taxes.

I was coming back from the store at my school and we have some tunnels that we use when its cold. My coat is zipped up, and underneath, I'm wearing a Lightning hoodie. So I was walking, and I see this girl wearing a Rangers jersey coming out of the lecture center, pretty good looking. I passed her by. Usually when I see someone wearing a hockey jersey, I look to see who they're wearing, just out of curiosity.

So I'm walking, and she's right behind me. I don't want to look back, because I already did that. So she branches off and takes a left, so I look to see.

On the arm. Number 26. I think, "no..."

She fully turns. I see the back.

I just laughed, shook my head, and kept walking. I think I'm more upset at the fact that I didn't talk to her than the actual St. Louis jersey. I had the perfect opening with the Lightning hoodie too.

You should have wooed her and then ruined her. That is what she gets for getting a Rangers St. Louis jersey.
