Losing PK faceoffs has got to stop! I mean, it's killing us. Staal, win the dang draw. You're our best faceoff man and you can't win a PK faceoff anymore.

You can't take a penalty like that in the offensive zone anytime, but particularly at that juncture. Yeah, I know it's instinct to try and hit the puck, but even if Necas hits it, it would be blown dead for a high stick if a Canes player got to it. Just not a smart decision at all.

As others have said, Faceoffs are killing the team on the PK also.

The fact that you can get + money on Point to score a goal vs the Hurricanes and Kucherov to get a power play point shows me the books don’t pay that close attention to hockey. Every. f***ing. Time.

At least it’ll be a profitable night.
