I don't know if Keenan would take Schremp. That's just a combination calling for trouble.

Yeah but Keenan seems to like his players on short leashes and Schremp doesn't seem to be the kind of guy who would want that kind of control over his play. That, and Keenan isn't known for his patience with players he doesn't think are good enough to be on his team. And they already have some pretty good young centers coming up (Weiss, Horton).

I doubt this would have much of an impact on whether or not they make the pick of Schremp but if the AHL head coach has any imput at all---there's a good shot that a good word is being put in for Schremp from the inside of the Panthers org.

Hmm, didn't know that. Maybe Keenan might take Schremp after all. Although they do already have Weiss and Horton, I guess you can never have too much talent at one position.

Calgary takes Korpikoski before they take Bolland.
Disagree Bolland fills a need down the middle for the flames and is no reach at 19. The flames were very high on Mike Richards last year and might have taken him at 9 if Phaneuf was off the board. Bolland has many similar qualties to Richards, shifty two way pivot with decent scoring touch. A very Sutterish pick, they may even go with Mcgrath at 19 if Bolland is off the board.

If the Rangers get the top notch forward at # 6, I believe they are more inclined to take a defenseman at #24, so Lyamin is more likely the choice.

IF the Rangers get a forward at #6, they are more likely to take a d-man at #24, so I think Lyamin is the pick there.

i agree that the rangers will probably take a dman here especially with some decent second round picks out there. with that being said, look for the caps to take hedman and schultz and then the caps draft a forward again with the 33rd overall pick in the draft

overall though, your draft looks real solid -- good job!

In terms of my favorites teams I'll give you an A+!!! Thelen and O'Neill would be a welcome addition for the Thrashers and the Sens, respectively.

Well, I think that Valabik will be picked by the Stars.

Overall a very solid draft. :)

From what I'm hearing, If Wolski is on the board, the Isles will take him. I heard rumors that they may try to trade up to get him.

in my opinion, that draft isnt exactly the most accurate, why would the stars take korpikorski, they obviously need a Defensmen with their blue-line getting old, and Martin Vagner re-entering the draft.

How can you be so convinced? Have you seen their draft list?

Personally I think both sound enough like Sutter types that both are good choices for the Flames in mock drafts like these.

I'd love to have either player on the Flames, however, I feel that Bolland's size puts him behind Korpikoski.

Seems logical at the time Lisin just seemed like the BPA

Thelen wont fall past 8

I think Thelen is overated on these boards, hes not in many top 10 lists outside HF. The late rising Meszaros will overtake him IMHO
