At this point, I don't think it's very quiet anymore (unless he's still hated on the main boards here).

McDonagh is getting a ton of respect on these boards everywhere I look. More than any non-Lundqvist Ranger that I've seen sinct the 04-05 lockout, and that's including Jagr/Gaborik

Except by some people most notably Montreal fans that think Subban is leagues better. That said I give Habs fans credit they pretty much mostly agree that he's great. They could easily diminish him to feel better.
