If the intent is to compete this year - trade for a goalie. PK playing 80% of the games and a career not even back up arent going to get you anywhere.

If its longer term - they are going after a 2C with term. It’s been the gaping hole in the lineup for 3 years and anyone with half a brain can see it.

This is more than a funk it's regression to the new mean. They started on a heater with guys playing well above their abilities and they're now all playing as you would expect.

Our stars are playing like ass, but they've also not been difference makers for us in the past so maybe this is who they are without an absolute elite defense is playing behind them.

Well, hopefully both are addressed before we try to compete again. But I feel like we're in the weird position where we need a trade to shake things up, but the two positions we need the most would be better addressed in the off-season.
