He seemed to know something was wrong immediately when it happened. Have to think that's more than just a strain/pulled muscle but I don't know the human body so I have literally no clue.
What I do know is that he's been one of your best players all series so this could be an absolutely massive L. As someone who enjoys good hockey, I really want him to return for game 7.

Losing JT in game #1 and now Muzzin, while dropping games 5 and 6 in OT. It feels like we're destined to lose this series.

Is Hutton available yet? I heard early in the playoffs that he wasn't due to personal reasons, but maybe that's changed? If Hutton isn't available, I go with:

You play the top 4 HEAVY. Montreal just did it to us last night. Top 4 was in the high 20s and low 30s for ice times and the bottom pairing was like 6 mins. Maybe not the dramatic of an approach for us, but same idea. Shelter the bottom pairing. If Hutton is good to go, throw him in for either Sandin or Dermott, I honestly don't care. Such similar players and both cost us with big mistakes

Cal me crazy, but I'm putting in Hutton over Sandin or Lliljegren.
Didn't we get him for such a reason?

Marincin replacing Muzzin and giving the puck away in OT losing Game 7 would be the most Leafy thing ever. Like you just know it's going to happen.

Dermott made a mistake, but he was good otherwise. Crap happens and unfortunately it really cost him at the worst possible time but you can't say Dermott has played poorly at the other times. It could have happened to anyone. Same with Galchenyuk.
The reason why Sandin gets criticism is because he made countless mistakes that did not cost him and then made a bunch more that went into the back of the net. And he did practically nothing positive to counterbalance it. It would be the same with Thornton.
