Brutal news but not surprised. That was a 94 mph clapper he absorbed.Broken foot for Samberg worst news possible and leaves a huge hole on the blueline

2 of the 3 scheifele penalties were awful calls and they let the same hook go on connor that led to a scoring chance right before the jmo penaltyThis one is on Arniel as much as the players. I commented at the end of the 1st that the topline needed to be switched this game. Every single shift that line went on it seemed either they spent the entire shift in their own zone leaking shots or ended the the shift with the Jets taking a penalty. It was 3 turnovers by that line that led to the Morrissey penalty on the go ahead goal and the very next shift they got scored 5 on 5 effectively ending the game.
That line should not have been allowed to stay together any longer than after the first 3rd period shift and maybe the Jets could have had a chance.
I guess if Ville is looking for an opportunity, the opportunity is finally there againThe Jets face their first real adversity of the year. 1-3 in our last 4, and potential down a top 4 D.
How will the coaching staff manage this? Will the players walk the talk?
They need to find a way, this road trip won't get easier

Heinola.Heinola or Coghlan
6-8 weeks is rule of thumb for any fracture. What is the recovery timeline of this injury?
I guess to start they could slip in Heinola with Miller and move up Fleury with Pionk and see how it goes.Heinola.
Coghlan means someone plays on their off hand. (Saw your ninja edit lol)

Hope it's closer to 6 than 8.Heinola.

I think he just started to skate at the end of practiceHow long is Stanley supposed to be out?
At least a couple of weeks then, I guess. At least he's starting to get back into it.I think he just started to skate at the end of practice
Would they ever think of breaking up JMo-DeMelo?I guess to start they could slip in Heinola with Miller and move up Fleury with Pionk and see how it goes.
How about Miller up with Joshua, Heinola with Pionk and Fleury and DemeloWould they ever think of breaking up JMo-DeMelo?
My assumption is no, but it may be worth an experiment just to give some balance to the pairings.
But is he ready after such a short conditioning stint and he is not the type of player Samberg is. Maybe Solomunson time,?I guess if Ville is looking for an opportunity, the opportunity is finally there again
no, you are hoping for a 4 game losing streak so you can say "I told you guys they are bad" again...But is he ready after such a short conditioning stint and he is not the type of player Samberg is. Maybe Solomunson time,?
I smell a 4 game losing streak upcoming
Plus any soft tissue rehab on top of that.Heinola.

I want nothing more than this team to succeed but I refuse to get sucked into thinking this teams different than last year's. The signs are there that they cannot keep up the play that got them to 17-3. It does not make me feel good to be right. I wish I could be more optimistic.no, you are hoping for a 4 game losing streak so you can say "I told you guys they are bad" again...
