GDT: Must Win Edition | CBJ @ NYI | 7:30 PM EST

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
  • Live threads are back for GDTs, if your thread isn't live report it and a mod will turn it up.
TF does bagels for dinner mean?

A bagel in tennis is a 6-0 set... but couldn't figure a connection there. Then I wondered if Michigan fans throw bagels on the ice, but that isn't a thing. And then I did some random googling and came up empty. Probably random nonsense?

Zach Werenski set the top skating distance in a single game (5.16 miles) by any NHL player this season in the Columbus Blue Jackets' 4-3 shootout win against the New York Islanders at UBS Arena on Monday.
Werenski also tied his career-best mark (also skated 5.16 miles against Los Angeles Kings on March 4, 2022) for the third-longest distance total of any regular-season game during the puck and player tracking era (since 2021-22).
Werenski also leads the NHL in total skating distance this season (276.13 miles)
The 27-year-old also skated 2.04 miles in the third period Monday, the highest total in a single period of a regular-season game and the second-highest of the tracking era
played 33:44 on Monday, the most ice time of any player in the League this season

Absolute stud. Obviously can't ask this of him every game and expect good results.
