Is he still a bonafide top4dman in fans eyes or more of a stopgap guy?
 
We’ve been bleeding chances from low danger areas during the season collapse. Specifically that center area when we collapse low and the other team gets a clean fish out from our weak body/board play and passes there
 
1. This young team is learning a difficult lesson that crunch time hockey and playoff hockey is radically different than what they have been accustomed to
2. We have a lack of talent in the top 9, defensively and in goal. Upgrades are needed in these areas in order to take the next steps
 
No connectivity. Something happened during the Four Nations break and the outsized importance of the Stadium Series game.

They just aren’t linked anywhere. Can’t complete passes, sending pucks to empty spaces, no structure in the defensive zone, can’t sustain a forecheck, can barely even maintain possession on a stick.

Do they have another level from a mental/emotional standpoint?

This is uglier than an episode of The Bear. I personally find that show unwatchable and surprise surprise...so it this.

I’ve never worked retail or in food, but my friends have, and they say it’s one of the more accurate lenses of life in those fields. And yeah, it’s miserable.

But I get what you’re saying. It’s definitely a lot. Definitely not a fun watch. But it’s pretty deep
 
Our second and third lines have just been horrible tonight. 91-19-38 don’t appear to have any chemistry despite two good opportunities by Fantilli.

While having little to do with this game and more just a general rant, I just hate watching Kunin, Kuraly and ZAR on the ice.
