Interesting... For some reason it reminds me of Lazarus, though that's of course a much darker song.

Makes sense as I'm unfamiliar with this song. I was trying to remember which Eagles tune it reminded me of so I listened to it again at the beginning. Now I'm getting this one from the beginning of 12 things I forgot. That's the magic of music I guess.

lol

Yeah I can hear that.

Love this band, and this album in particular. So many dreamy songs (many of which have been featured in the most perfect way possible on my favorite TV show Mr. Robot)

^^^^ I've recently caught on to that guy. Probably because of the youtubes I follow from here. Fantastic new guitarist.

First song: Gambale on steroids.

2nd song: Steve Vai meets DiMeola.

But everything is heavier and darker too!

I'm just hearing some of my personal listening influences of course. He has a great mix of sounds.

:)

Overdriver Duo

Never thought Sultans of Swing could be played on uklelele's and sound decent, but these two manage to pull it off. Going to have to get mine out of the case, practice some more and expand my mind. Apparently you can play more things on the Uke than "Someday Over the Rainbow or Soul Sister!"

Very nice.
Nice year.

2005 Standard w/o the locking tuners & the other ‘unnecessary upgrades’ they brought in that year.

sold a 1993 triple hum (hot ceramics) classic to a good friend during COVID. 13 pounds...

^^ Almost forgot about those guys. Thanks for the reminder! Sounds great.

EDIT: Watched the credits. Didn't know Hurst was an RPN/Psych nurse. My cousins hubby Todd Storme (Esks) does the same type of work here in Edmonton. Nice of them to mention the Dakota 1st Nation too.

I am watching the voice right now. The finale. Part one of two. Wanted to watch the ravens browns game instead..... the things we do for love...... I feel this 15 year old kid is going to win it all.
