OT: Music Part V

A bud showed me this earlier, a cover of what was and is a historical and epic live performance. I've seen and heard terrible before but can't even....................:shakehead

I like this medley, it’s intense. Lots of melodic, high energy playing, the drummer has great chops. Can it not be appealing on its own merits as its own artistic rendition?

If we start comparing how the songs they mashed up depart from the originals, we’re never going to see new generations of rockers challenging themselves.

This type of performance puts a new spin on old classics, offering different ways of interpreting content that has in some cases been overplayed.

These guys would make a great Deep Purple cover band. Just add Dino Jelusick on vocals and it would be a wicked nostalgia trip.
