Honestly, if the plan is to get 1st overall next draft it would set us up with a 1D and 1C.
The thing is, you can never "plan" to get the 1OA pick. All you can do is plan to get at most a 25.5% chance at 1OA.
This is true. Plus having a 1/2 punch down the middle should 2025 1st OA fall to us wouldn't be bad either. Then we still have svech as a 3C and guys like Surin, Edstrom, Nilsson coming up the ranks that can convert to wing or as fallback plans should someone not pan out at C
