Well we went almost exactly a year without a doogie , lost our girl at 8 years old and we were heart broken. Long story short we had a picture of a pup , 8 months old, sent to us from a friend and we had to go see her. She's a rescue from the Pas , German Shepherd with white eyes, soooo cute and she never left my lap . Anyway i always think of dogs with this song because they love you even if you are blue.:nod:Love the guitar in this song.

Some Ian Hunter love here if I may...I know there are a few on here that are my vintage and older who will know of Mott the Hoople. They were a premium "underrated" Rock'n'Roll band back in the day.

Mott the Hoople did (in my opinion anyways) the best version of Bowie's All The Young Dudes, Ian wrote the Great White favourite, Once Bitten, Twice Shy (I prefer his version of course). His outstanding album "You're Never Alone With A Schizophrenic" was a soundtrack to my "smokin' days!

Nonetheless he is still making quality music at 84! Here's his most recent song with Ringo and Mike Campbell of Tom Petty fame. 2nd video is one from about 11 years ago.

Thanks for humouring me...he is the last on my bucket list of artists I wanted to see. At his age of 84 I think my chances of seeing him are dwindling

From the 1998 Spike Lee film "He Got Game" is a song from Public Enemy that uses the Buffalo Springfield song "For What's It Worth". With special appearance from Stephen Stills

Something a little slower and mellow is a song from the 2001 film, "Bridget Jone's Diary" by British artist Gabrielle

Form the 1992 move, "Police Story 3: Supercop" starring Jackie Chan is a song from Warren G and Adina Howard using the chorus from Tina Turner's, "What's Love Got To Do With It"

I generally don’t pick favourites but, I will say I love For Tomorrow, Beetlebum, Death of a Party, Coffee and TV, The Universal… just so many.
I think the average person just thinks about Song 2 and Parklife, but it's all of their other music that does it for me. Their B-Sides catalogue has to be right up there.

I love all the songs that you listed. Great stuff!

Never seen them but I did get to see Damon do his Gorillaz thing in Toronto. Very, very good.
