Really quite excited to be seeing these guys live for the first time. Fargo, October 14, I think (that weekend on Saturday anyway). Scheel's Arena, so smallish venue. I expect to have a lot of fun and a very substantial hangover for the drive home.

So with Morgan Wallen - AKA the biggest name in country music - hitting the floor at Canada Life Centre on Thursday evening in a show that has been sold out since tickets went on sale, the majority of players making up the Jets' roster plan on setting foot in the team's private box for what is looking like a Dangerous evening filled with Cowgirls and quite possibly some Whiskey Glasses.

"You better believe I'll be there. I think the whole team is going," Appleton told The Hockey News. "He’s one hell of a performer," the Green Bay, WI. product said. "Most of the team is going tomorrow night, so it should be a blast. We’ve got dinner before and then we’re all going to go to the concert after. We’re just all gonna be jammed in one of the press boxes. We’re a bit tucked away up there, but it should be good."

So it looks like the Springsteen concert is going to be just about a year from now. They announced the US make-up dates and they go until the end of September. Canadian dates get announced this week.

It's weird because I love thrash and hate punk. Thrash has a lot of elements of punk but I just can't get into it.

Good tune. I am not a country fan per se but I do tend to like some of what I’d call Americana and I’d put him in there too. Americana walks a fine line between country and folk. Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton, Tyler Childers.
