Weird as it is, both of these songs remind me of Christmas. I'm pretty sure both were on a K-Tel album in the year of their respective release and I probably got it as a gift for Christmas.

There are few classic Christmas songs written after the 1950’s, this is one and easily my favourite. Robbie Robertson is a brilliant storyteller and The Band are such gifted musicians.

Just a fun band that I 'discovered' in Thunder Bay. Rental car, FM radio. At least they have some variety out there, unlike locally. I gave up on FM locally something like 4 years ago. Maybe they play these guys, maybe not. Sirius isn't all that much better to find new stuff, but that's on me for genre selection.

Not sure if it's a fair characterization but they take me back to the 80s.
